Trip part 3 - Sunday

Today is Sunday. Time for Stuart to go home. He is leaving us here for about a week and a half to play and have fun. Poor Stu...has to work :( Chloe was actually really sad tonight and was missing him already. It was pretty sad. We spent the day with his Aunt and Uncle here that we haven't seen for a while. Then it was time to take daddy to the airport. The kids were pretty much wiped out and it was well past Jacks nap time. 10 minutes in the car and this is what we found:
Brooke

Jack

We went and spent the afternoon with my friend Robin and her baby will. This is them. We went for a walk around a duck pond and fed the ducks, but I forgot my camera. SORRY!

The kids entertained themselves at her house by playing in their dog crate. They thought it was fun to lock themselves in.

We're already having lots of fun (except when it's bedtime, that is a whole nother ball game!)

Trip Part 2 - The Family Reunion

The main reason for our trip to Utah was to go to my family reunion on my moms side of the family. I don't do much with them that often (okay, almost never) so I thought this year we would make an effort. We had a good time, but let me tell you. Camping is NOT my thing. Well, I can handle ONE night, but by the afternoon I'm ready for a shower, my own bed and some air conditioning! Here are some pictures.

Stuart, Brooke and Jack hanging out by the fire. Jack was a little Pyro camping. He loved "feeding the fire". He would find anything he could just to throw it in. It was hilarious.

If Jack wasn't playing in the fire, he was playing in the dirt. I didn't know you could get as dirty as he did. (Did I mention that camping is not my thing? Dirt - AH!!)

Chloe and Brooke enjoying some home made root beer.

Stuart joined in on the horse shoe tournament. Alas, he didn't win.

They had a raffle for the kids and just my luck, Jack got a gun. Oh boy.

We had 5 generations at the reunion, so we had to get pictures. In the 5, there is my kids, me, my mom (younger looking woman with grey hair, now you know where I get mine from! Dang genes!), my grandma (far right, white shirt) and my great grandma (middle in the chair) I doubt we'll see that again, so it was fun to get a pictures.

Trip Part 1 - The Drive

We are finally out here in Utah! It was quite a boring trip - but we made it! 2 days of driving is insane! We drove the first day to Albuequrque, NM. Then the rest of the way to Utah the next day. We did stop at Four Corners along the way and that was neat. Thought I'd share a handfull of pictures from that part of our Vacation.

Here are the kids in the car with their cool shades!

Here is Four Corners. You can basically be in 4 states at the same time.

Here is the family at Four Corners. Chloe is in Utah. Brooke is in Colorado. Stuart is in New Mexico and Jack is in Arizona. Crazy fun!

Here is the whole family there.

Pool Time

Chloe has had swim lessons this week. I thought I'd share some pictures of our time at the pool today. WARNING: The last picture in the post has some partial child nudity....but it's SO cute. We're leaving for Utah tomorrow, so check back for some fun updates!

Chloe jumping in the water. She's done such a great job with swim! At first she wouldn't even put in her head, now she is a swimming machine. Well, maybe not...but she's getting there!

Here's a cute one of Jack. Don't mind the pink swim ring. ha!

I couldn't leave out Brooke!

Here Chloe is doing her thing!

Last but not least..... Bums! Can you believe how tan they are getting???

Have a great weekend everyone!
