I saw this quote online today and I just fell in love with it.
"... We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. ... It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."

so true!!! It's like Elder Uchdorf's talk last Women's Conference.
I remember that from Akeelah & The Bee!
I never saw that movie! I want to though.
Great quote and so true. The guys came home from Institute last night and we were talking about letting our light shine and it reminded me of Pres. Faust's talk about the BYU students in Israel and how they are not to proselyte but "what were we going to do about the light in their eyes?" I loved that talk. Thanks for sharing.
