December in Pictures

I thought I would share our December so far through pictures.
This is the gingerbread house we decorated:

In a town by ours, there is a church that puts on a live Bethleham every year. It is the neatest thing. The "Bethleham" is pretty darn big. They have all these different houses and shops to replicate how Bethleham was during the time when Christ was born. So you walk through it and check everything out, then at the end they have baby Jesus. It is amazing.

Waiting in line. The line took us almost an hour to get in. There were SO many people.

We finally got in and the place was just so awesome.

Chloe and Brooke got to pet some chickens and hens

I took this picture from atop of a spiraled staircase that led to a jail.

Walking through the city "shops"

They had a place full of animals. Camels, donkeys, rams, sheep, ect.

Chloe was deathy afraid of the Roman Soldier!

When we finally got to baby Jesus...the atmosphere changed dramatically. People were quiet, reverent. It was very touching.

Love the photos! I especially liked the gingerbread house. It's so neat and tidy. You should see the mess we seem to make. It's still fun, though!
